Winter Camp "Wilderness Survival"

Deering Estate 2011 Winter Camp: Two, five-day sessions available!

Learn the essential skills of surviving in the wilderness! Children, ages 6 to 15, will explore the Estate’s natural areas and learn about South Florida’s flora and fauna. The action-packed adventure includes wildlife encounters, biking, orienteering, and more!

Session I: December 19-23, 2011 "Wilderness Survival I"
Session: II: December 26-30, 2011 "Wilderness Survival II"
Cost: $188 per five-day session.

Camp hours are from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. Please note there is a one-time $12 annual camp registration fee. Early drop-off and late-pick up are available for an additional fee of $10.00 per day for any combination of early drop-off and late pick-up. Early drop off is from 7:30 am to 9:00 am and late pick up is from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

Miami-Dade Parks EcoAdventures offers Winter Camp at AD Barnes Park, Arch Creek Park and Tropical Park. Children, ages 6-15, will explore the wonders of our South Florida ecosystem with outdoor activities such as trail hikes, wildlife encounters, canoeing and fishing!

A.D. Barnes Park Nature Detectives (ages 6-8) and Nature Explorers (ages 9-14)

Camp hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Early drop-off and late-pick up are available for an additional fee.
The cost is $100/week, plus a one-time annual registration fee of $12.

Arch Creek Park Camp Manatee (ages 6-14)

Camp hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm. Early drop-off and late-pick up are available for an additional fee.
The cost is $100/week, plus a one-time annual registration fee of $12.

Fishing Camp at Tropical Park Fishing Camp (Ages 9-15)

Early drop-off and late-pick up are available for an additional fee.
The cost is $125/week, plus a one-time annual registration fee of $12.
