November 18, Conservation & Wildlife Expo, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
The inaugural Conservation & Wildlife Expo will have a number of exhibitors on-site displaying proper management of native and exotic wildlife. They will also showcase their efforts with conserving South Florida environments.
Admission is $7.00 for ages 4 & older.
About the vendors:
The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Venom Response Team specializes in the response, management and treatment of envenomation.
Wildlife Rescue of Dade County rescues, rehabilitates and releases the injured, orphaned and/or displaced wild animals, native, to South Florida.
Pelican Harbor Seabird Station is an internationally recognized center for seabird rehabilitation. They also accept all injured native wildlife, including mammals and reptiles.
Everglades Alligator Farm showcases and teaches visitors about native and exotic wildlife of South Florida.
Everglades Outpost takes in injured animals, rehabilitates them, and releases them back into the wild.
