“Vinyasa Yoga: Flowing around the Moon” with Carlos Bello
Catch and release the energy from the Moon into your surroundings to enjoy the reflective and soothing characteristics of “La Luna”. Chandra Namaskar, the alternative to Surya Namaskar, is an especially nice way to form a stronger connection to movement and awareness as the students use their orientation to rotate around the mat. This practice brings deep awareness to the breath by synchronizing movement with each inhalation and exhalation.
Carlos, originally from Caracas-Venezuela, has dedicated himself to the study and practice of Yoga since 2002. Trained in the discipline of Sivananda, Carlos infuses his passion for yoga into each posture, placing emphasis on the breath. Using gentle encouraging cues throughout the practice and blending elements of different styles to develop a dynamic alignment-based flow that is suitable for beginners but also strong enough for all levels.
