Art Shorts Classes

ART SHORTS 2011
ART SHORTS provides a hands-on FINE ARTS curriculum to community youth. This program challenges participants to work with new mediums techniques and issues of contemporary art. Each activity is accompanied by a hand-out worksheet, home interest suggestions and classroom instruction. Classes are taught onsite by our artist in residence, Kim Yantis, in the historic Carriage House center studio and other areas on the Estate. Studio gallery will be exhibited year-round as well pieces will be featured in our annual Youth Arts Day & Music Fest held May 1, 2011.

Parents are not required to attend with children 6 and up, but must pay and participate if they attend with any child. Fee includes class instruction, access to the Carriage House classroom, and project supplies during class-time only.
