Henry Aguilera

Kristina Cunetta a resident of Palmetto Bay for the past 20 years originally from Rhode Island, is a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential and an avid volunteer and member of several community organizations. She is currently on the Board of Directors of the Palmetto Bay Business Association.

Maddalena Daday is the Group Sales Manager for the Ritz Carlton Hotels of Miami. Educated in both Italy and the United States, she is a graduate of The Florida Institute of Technology in Business Management and also an active volunteer with Autism Speaks.


Maurice Bared

Suzuyo Fox a resident of Coral Gables, is a transplanted Canadian from Toronto who has lived in South Florida for over 30 years and who enjoyed a long and successful career in advertising and publishing. Now retired, she is a member of the Anthony Robbins Platinum Partnership and enjoys traveling the world. She has served many local organizations including the South Dade Civitan Club, Sunrise Community for the Developmentally Disabled, South Dade YMCA and Chamber South and is presently supporting 55 children in an Indian orphanage in Narsapur, India.

John C. (Sean) Murphy is Head of School at Palmer Trinity School, a career English teacher and graduate of Dartmouth College and St. John’s College in Santa Fe. He serves as Trustee for the Council of Spiritual and Ethical Education (CSEE) and is an active volunteer at St. Thomas Church in Coral Gables.

Dorian Neidhart is a partner in family owned and operated Curbside Florist & Gifts and a resident of Palmetto Bay who has long advocated for the Deering Estate and has been a faithful volunteer for many community organizations.

David A. Marley is President of Creative Financial Solutions, Inc. and a Corporate Registered Investments Advisor specializing in full service financial planning. Originally from Rhode Island, he is married to Beth Ann Guthrie and has two children, Ashley and Nicholas. He is a past Trustee of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Founder and Ambassador of the Mercy Foundation and an active member of St. Louis Catholic Church where he is a Eucharistic Minister and guest speaker at the Engagement Encounter Weekends.

Becky Roper Matkov is president/chief executive officer of Dade Heritage Trust, Miami’s largest historic preservation nonprofit. A graduate of Duke University, with a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Becky is the founding editor of Preservation Today magazine, the co-author of Florida’s Historic Restaurants and the editor of the book Miami’s Historic Neighborhoods. A graduate of Leadership Miami and Leadership Florida, she is a past president of The Junior League of Miami. She has served on the boards of Palmer Trinity School, The Villagers and the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation and has chaired the State Historic Preservation Advisory Council. For ten years she was a consultant for the Elizabeth Ordway Dunn Foundation, working on national and statewide environmental issues. Becky currently is a member of the International Women’s Forum and serves on the boards of the Stiltsville Trust, the Prologue Society and the Art in Public Places Trust.

Scott A. Silver is a partner of Silver, Garvett & Henkel. He has been practicing law for over 25 years and holds Martindale Hubbell’s highest AV ranking. He obtained both his Juris Doctor degree (1981) from the University of Florida and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida (1979). Contemporaneous with his law practice, Scott has been a developer and investor in numerous commercial real estate properties and projects. His signature development is the Palmetto Bay Village Center, an 80-acre office park campus overlooking Biscayne Bay in Miami. Scott is also active in various community and charitable organizations. He is past President of the Deering Estate Foundation and the Founder of the Sobay Festival of the Arts, active with Shake-a-Leg Miami, and, as an Eagle Scout himself, continues to support scouting activities. He is married and the father of two children.

Paul Neidhart along with his wife Lois, have been residents of Palmetto Bay for 37 years and own Curbside Florist & Gifts, a family-operated florist shop since 1968, managed by Mr. Neidhart’s son, Paul Neidhart, Jr. (P.J.). Paul was elected to serve as the inaugural Councilmember for District 2 of the Village of Palmetto Bay and just recently completed his second term in office. He has held leadership roles and is active in many civic organizations, including the Economic Development Council of South Miami-Dade, Chamber South and Rotary and has been a valued volunteer for the Deering Estate Foundation for many years. He enjoys spending time maintaining his beautifully landscaped yard and relaxing with friends and family in his famous backyard Chickee Hut.

William Thiele a Vice President with Sunstate Bank. He has resided in Palmetto Bay since 1971. He is actively involved in the community as a member of various community and philanthropic organizations. He has served on the Deering Estate Foundation Board since 2004.

 Liede De Valdivielso is a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate and one of the top 1000 agents nationwide and top 100 in Florida. Liede grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania and later attended American University where she earned her degree in International Business. She, along with husband Frank and their three children, reside in the Village of Palmetto Bay. As an engaged mother and community leader, Liede actively supports the many activities of her children, stays involved with the local PTA and presently serves as President of the Palmetto Bay Business Association.

Buff Bye-March

Betty Noe is presently a member of the 11th Circuit Court Grievance Committee for the Florida Bar and Vice Chair of the Peace Education Foundation. She grew up in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin where she met and married her high school sweetheart Meteorologist Don Noe. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and International Relations from the University of Wisconsin, she enjoyed a ten year career as a news reporter/anchor covering Greenbay, WI, Portland, OR and Miami before retiring to raise their two sons, Matthew and Allen, both born here in Miami. Betty served in various PTA/PTSA leadership roles locally, chairing multiple committees applicable to public education from 1990-2005 and served as an officer on the Florida PTA Board of Directors from 1996-2002.

Richard King was the 2008 President of the Deering Estate Foundation and is currently serving on the Board of the DEF since 2002. Graduating from Florida State University with a BS in Risk Management and Insurance. Richard is a State Farm Insurance Agent. His agency is located in South Dade on US 1 and Eureka drive next to the Publix. Richard is also the current President of The Rotary Club of Perrine-Cutler Ridge/ Palmetto Bay.
