Holiday Decorating

Throughout December, visitors can tour the elegant and historic houses as they come alive with holiday accents and decorations. The holiday decorating effort is an annual tradition and has been a special volunteer project of the District XII Garden Clubs, the Miami Chapter of Ikebana International, J.R.E. Lee Opportunity School 4-H, the Florida Association of Family and Consumer Sciences - District J, and Sandy Scapes.

Estate Decorating
Richmond Cottage: November 19 & 20, 9 am - 2 pm
All areas: November 25-30, 9 am - 2 pm
Decoration removal: January 2-7, 9 am - 2 pm

Tree Lighting Ceremony: December 2, 7 pm - 9 pm
Winter Wonderland Exhibit Opening: December 4, 6 pm - 8 pm
Santa Story-Time: December 10 & 17, 10 am - 12 pm
Holiday Bay Cruise: December 18, 2 pm - 4 pm

Special Request: Our staff also needs assistance with moving decorations from storage in early November and back into storage in early January. If you can lift at least 50 lbs. and would like to help, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.
