Living Artist Concert Series

The Living Artist Concert Series (LACS) combines ensemble performances with lectures, visual art exhibits, environmental awareness and interpretive programs. Founding artists representing faculty from the University of Miami and Florida International University and top local performers seek to acquaint the public with the best of South Florida’s artistic spirit.

"Florida Dreams"

Chamber Music Series: Founding members of the Living Artist Concert Series will perform a new work by composer Judith Shatin along with works by Erno Dohnányi, F. Delius and J. Brahms. The performance will pay tribute to the dreams and life of Charles Deering with an historic and contemporary art exhibition in the context of our present day Artist Village.
