The Deering Estate is a premier rental facility for wedding ceremonies and receptions in Miami. Ceremonies are held on the beautiful manicured lawn overlooking the tranquil waters of Biscayne Bay. Guests will enjoy a wedding reception in the courtyard, with the Grand Stone House and historic Richmond Cottage in the background. The Deering Estate is the ideal location to host a wedding in a truly unique setting in Miami.
The Deering Estate is a National Historic Landmark therefore we take pride in protecting its natural resources. In renting the facility, we ask you to join us in our stewardship by adhering to the rules and regulations in order to protect the natural resources and the historic buildings.
Rental fees for the 1st floor of the Stone House, the Courtyard and the front lawn (up to 125 guests):
Friday, Saturday or Sunday $4,600
Monday thru Thursday $3,450
Maximum number of guests allowed in the Stone House is 250.
Each additional guest over 125 is $9.50 per guest.
Rental fees for the 1st floor of the Richmond Cottage, the Court Yard and the front lawn for maximum capacity of 75 guests:
Friday, Saturday or Sunday $1,400
Monday thru Thursday $1,050
The Deering Estate will supply you with the use of a 40 x 60 tent for use on the stone paved Court Yard for an additional fee of $1,960.23.
All rentals are subject to 7% Miami-Dade County Sales Tax and a $200 or 20% (whichever is higher) refundable Security Deposit.
A summer discount of 25% is given during the months of June, July and August.

Catering Company Permits & Fees
The client is repsonsible for ALL catering fees. The permit must be paid for at least 30 days before the event.
Permit fees are $5 per guest and are non-refundable.
Security Guards
Because of the vast size of the Estate, additional security is required and will be provided by the Deering Estate at a cost of $24 per hour per guard plus 7% Miami-Dade County Sales Tax; for a minimum of 8 hours.
Up to 150 guests 2 Security Guards are required
151 to 190 guests 3 Security Guards are required
191 to 225 guests 4 Security Guards are required
226 to 250 guests 5 Security Guards are required
