October 2, Prohibition Era Cellar Series
Join us for a tasting of fine spirits from Miami Club Rum. Learn about the distilling process and enjoy delicious drinks in the Prohibition era cellar, in the basement of the Stone House.
Miami Club Rum is a unique experience combining local craftsmanship, superior Florida ingredients and our distinct aging process – “Infused with Music” – to create a smooth, “Ultimately Mixable” flavor profile that brings people from all over the world together!
Miami Club Rum staff will be on hand to explain the distilling process, expand on their product selections and to mix delicious prohibition drinks for everyone to enjoy. Drink samples will be available throughout the evening along with small bites.
The cost is $45 per person, limited tickets are available. Tickets can only be purchased in advance by calling 305-235-1668 ext. 233 or online.
Delve into prohibition history by joining us in the prohibition era cellar, in the basement of the Stone House, built in 1922. Behind a wooden bookshelf, lies a historic steel bank vault door securing original bottles of alcohol, including rum, champagne, vermouth and gin from far flung places like Jamaica, France and Italy. A ticket will be mailed to each participant with the “password” to the “speakeasy,” to be used on the evening of the event.
Please note that you must be 21 years or older to attend.
